P.E- TERM 3 For sports we had a sports carnival last friday on 13/8/10. Which included the events: 100mts, 200mts, 400mts, 80metre hurdles, long jump, javelin (vortex), triple jump, shot put, discus, and lastly high jump.I participated in all of these events. I really enjoyed sport carnival day because it's not just all about winning or losing even though it's quite exciting winning, it was just all about having fun and enjoying what you've achieved. The most events I enjoyed participating in were: High Jump, 100mts, 200mts, triple jump and Discus. My favourite speliciast subject out of Mandarin, ICT and ART would have to be sport because I enjoy it most! Date: 18/8/10Today in sports in the start we had to pick partners and one of them has to sit down on the benches and the others have to line up on the basketball court. I was the leader and the rule was to not cut in front of anyone and the purpose why we done this was to keep our pace going. I tried to push the students behind me since I was leader and they catched up very well, and if you felt like you couldnt do it anymore you had to drop out and sit down. Our other partners that were on the benches had to keep count of the laps we ran because we had to do 10laps altogether. I felt vey proud of myself because I tried to push myself as well as I tried to push the others. I thought that it was a very good way to warm up. After that we had to grab a mini basketball and then just practice doing skills with our partners. After we practiced skill we played a game of skittles. I enjoyed playing skittles because people weren't that competitive and it was just all about having fun. Date: 19/8/10Today for SEPEP my team Romanian Warriors had to umpire first. I umpired Newcomb and the teams that were playing were: Aussie Kangaroos and Disney Landers. I really enjoyed umpiring becuse the teams which were playing encouraged each other and they all kept on trying even though one of the teams were losing. On the 2nd round my team played capture the flag and the point were 2 all, which was a draw. We versed the team Mighty Warriors. But it was unlucky for me because I tripped and grazed my hips and hands. Ouchh. For the 3rd round my team played Star Wars and our umpire was Cassidy. He was a good umpire because he made the game fair. But I didn't get to play the 3rd round because my team had more people then the other team so then I was the person who had to anounce things like when it's half time.
